Since our database issues last weekend, we worked around the clock to get everything back up and running. We have replaced hardware and added in some extra redundancy this week to prevent this issue from happening in the future. Thank you to all subscribers for your patience and understanding during this time!
We are pleased to announce that all services are now fully functional, and have been for a couple of days. If you noticed your ranks looking a bit suspicious this week, they should now be looking correct. If anyone is continuing to experience any issues, please contact us via the Helpdesk. We have added support for Quake World and Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45. These are untested on our system, so in the unlikely event that you run into an issue, please contact us via the helpdesk with details so we can fix it.
Also, a reminder that we added support for TF2, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and Unreal Tournament 99. Again, let us know if you have any issues with these games when you create monitors. There are other games we're planning to add, so if you have any special requests, now is the time to ask. When you put forward a request, it's really useful for us to have an IP, Port and Query Port for a server so that we can run tests, so please include this information for one of your servers when you ask for a game to be added. Happy gaming! Wednesday, April 4

Check out our exciting new Player Rankings feature. We have now made it possible for you to view not only the past 7 days of stats, but also to view any of the past months stats for the previous year! Settle arguments, present awards, or just view your own player history. However you want to use the information, it's now available! You can see from the example below that the Player Ranks table now has a dropdown menu so that you can select which period you want to view.

We've now added support for Battlefield 2142! The one service that has yet to be support is Gamlauncher - however we plan to provide launcher support later this week. We will be scanning the master list for the main game when it comes out (not the demo). However you can use our monitors for a demo server, but the player ranking etc are will come to life the moment the game goes live. Feel free to contact us should you notice any possible bugs or if you're having difficulty setting up your services. Thursday, September 7

We have fixed a bug that was causing some scores in AA to show as a negative number. Player ranks show the past 7 days of activity, so it may take up to a week before you no longer see negative scores in the player ranks tables, but all scores in the live server monitors should now show correctly. Get your FREE Player Monitor! This is a new tool for both gamers and webmasters. Following on from the phenomenal success of our Player Stats, you can now get a Player Handy Monitor! Stick this on your website or in a forum post so that your friends can see if you’re gaming, what server you’re in, together with some of your vital gaming stats. To get your player monitor, just go to our Player Stats and look up your name – then copy the monitor code on the page! Remember, this doesn’t work so well if your player name is not unique, so it pays to be creative J
This is a brand new service, so please remember it’s in beta! Monday, June 5

It appears we have some Canadian downtime due to our Toronto routing pop having technical problems. Hopefully this will be corrected momentarily.
Edit: This problem should now be resolved. Friday, April 14

The Server Scanner was dropping some HalfLife2 based games. This should now be fixed. All HL2 based servers should now be tracking all player ranks correctly.

We've recieved our new core database server. This new server will be mainly responsible for the player ranks and stats that you can see either on our player search or player rank services. We'll also be using this database server to enhance our general game tracking statistics! We actually don't delete any data we have at ServerSpy.Net. Every time a server is queried we store that result directly to our databases. This enables us to keep track on how well people are playing or how active servers are. |
